That this House notes the plans to build an eco-town in the county of Leicestershire adjacent to Leicester City; believes that citizens of Leicester should be properly consulted on any plans of this nature; and calls upon the Government to ensure that any decision made as to the final location of eco-towns should take into account the effects their creation will have on local areas.
