That this House congratulates the Prime Minister on a successful visit to India; believes that maintaining a strong relationship with India is of the utmost importance; welcomes the Prime Minister's statement that the UK gives its support to India's membership of the UN Security Council; and calls on the Government to take whatever steps necessary to secure agreement for this to happen by the end of 2008.
