Un Conference On Climate Change At Bali
EDM number 76 in 2007-08, proposed by Gregory Barker on 06/11/2007.
Categorised under the topics of Climate change and Environmental protection.
That this House urges the Government to go further and faster in seeking international agreements and strategies to stop the continued increase in world carbon dioxide emissions; believes that 550 parts per million carbon dioxide concentration in air would be an unacceptably dangerous level; and urges the Government to seek an agreement at the UN Conference on Climate Change in Bali in December on a clear road-map towards a post-Kyoto deal, which can then be secured at the Copenhagen Conference in 2009.
This motion has been signed by a total of 40 MPs.
