Salaries Of Hon. Members
EDM number 662 in 2007-08, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 09/01/2008.
That this House notes recent press speculation regarding the Senior Salaries Review Board recommendation on the salaries of hon. Members and reported comments by the Prime Minister regarding the possible increase thereto; further notes that if the initial annual difference speculated upon were to be between 2.8 per cent. and 1.9 per cent., that this percentage difference would amount to a weekly net amount of approximately £1.10 pence; and expresses the hope that all hon. Members will make the sensible and reasonable decision to vote against any increase in the suggested 1.9 per cent.
