That this House acknowledges the National Intelligence Estimate's report on Iran's nuclear activities; recognises Iran's influence in the Middle East and its importance in securing peace in the region while not condoning Iran's human rights record or President Ahmadinejad's remarks regarding Israel; condemns the threat of military action against Iran as a method of diplomacy; and calls on the Government to open further dialogue with Iran, and to put pressure on the US Administration to do the same.
