That this House congratulates Dolly Parton on her Imagination Library which provides free books for pre-school children; notes that this scheme has encouraged reading and helped tackle illiteracy in the US by providing 12 million gifts of books to children in the past 12 years; welcomes the launch of the Imagination Library of the United Kingdom; and calls on the Government to work closely with this worthy initiative to ensure similar successful outcomes across the UK.
