That this House congratulates the work of the Transition Town movement in Lampeter, which seeks ways to respond to the challenges of peak oil and climate change; welcomes Lampeter's official establishment as a Transition Town in April 2008 after receiving widespread support from local residents, public bodies and businesses; believes that a grassroots approach to tackling the serious environmental issues that will affect everyone now and in the future is vital to ensure both local and global action; and wishes Lampeter well as a key part of the Burgeoning Transition Town movement.
