World Diabetes Day 2008

That this House notes 14th November 2008 will be World Diabetes Day; expresses concern that some 250 million people worldwide, including two million in England, are living with diabetes; recognises the increasing number of children and teenagers currently suffering from the condition; and welcomes World Diabetes Day and its efforts to raise awareness and improve education about the disease.
