Lpg Heating

EDM number 2386 in 2007-08, proposed by John Mann on 30/10/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Competition, Consumers and Oil, petrol and natural gas.

That this House notes that liquid petroleum gas (LPG) is the most expensive way to heat a standard home; further notes the 60 per cent. increase in the price of LPG since 2004; is concerned about the effects this will have on vulnerable residents this winter; further notes the Competition Commission's conclusion that difficulties in switching supplier have inhibited competition; and urges the Government and industry to help users of LPG heating to cope this winter.

This motion has been signed by a total of 26 MPs.
