Time Changes In The United Kingdom

EDM number 2365 in 2007-08, proposed by Gregory Campbell on 28/10/2008.

That this House notes the twice a year one hour time change in the United Kingdom; calls for a wide ranging debate on the merits or otherwise of continuing with the practice given the widespread inconvenience caused by the current practice; and looks forward to the presentation of facts concerning road safety, tiredness of drivers resulting from the immediate aftermath of each change in the time and other relevant factors.
