Heathrow Equalities Impact Assessment

EDM number 2352 in 2007-08, proposed by John McDonnell on 27/10/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Aviation and Racial discrimination.

That this House expresses its concern that, in the Government's current equalities impact assessment consultation on adding capacity at Heathrow airport, not a single black and minority ethnic organisation in the London Borough of Hillingdon is listed as a consultee despite the devastating threat Heathrow expansion is to communities in Hillingdon; and considers that in the light of the failings within the consultation process, the consultation should be recommenced.

This motion has been signed by a total of 16 MPs.
