Co-Operative News

EDM number 2314 in 2007-08, proposed by Bob Russell on 21/10/2008.
Categorised under the topic of Press.

That this House regrets that Co-operative News, the official weekly newspaper of the Co-operative Movement, is no longer stocked in the Library; notes the leading role played by Co-operators in major social advances over the past 160 years; acknowledges that the Co-op, which is owned by its individual members, is Britain's leading ethical trading organisation; and calls on the House authorities to once again stock Co-operative News so that parliamentarians of all political persuasions can be better informed of the principles, ethos and good work undertaken by the Co-operative Movement.

This motion has been signed by a total of 49 MPs.
