Panorama And Heathrow Airport

EDM number 2105 in 2007-08, proposed by John McDonnell on 21/07/2008.
Categorised under the topic of Aviation.

That this House notes with extreme concern the investigation by the BBC's Panorama into the development of the proposals to expand Heathrow Airport; and, in the light of the findings of this investigation, calls upon the Government to reject the proposals for a third runway and sixth terminal at Heathrow and to set up urgently an independent public inquiry into the process used to develop and consult upon the expansion proposals, and in particular the role of BAA and the aviation industry in this process.

This motion has been signed by a total of 22 MPs.
