2007 Scottish Social Attitudes Survey
EDM number 1651 in 2007-08, proposed by Angus Robertson on 02/06/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Devolution and Scottish Parliament.
That this House welcomes the publication of the 2007 Scottish Social Attitudes Survey; notes that prior to the Scottish elections in May 2007 51 per cent. of people surveyed trusted the Scottish Executive to act in the interests of Scotland always or most of the time; congratulates the Scottish Government on achieving a rating of 71 per cent. on the same indicator four months after election; and further notes with concern that only 35 per cent. of those surveyed trust the UK Government to act in Scotland's interest always or most of the time.
