United Utilities Charges

EDM number 1579 in 2007-08, proposed by Timothy Farron on 15/05/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Consumers, Utilities and Water industry.

That this House expresses concern at the impact of United Utilities changes to their method of charging non-domestic customers which will see many community facilities and charitable organisations facing significantly higher charges for surface water drainage despite no increase in service; and calls upon United Utilities to bring in new measures that will limit these increases and take account of the importance of such facilities and organisations.

This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
