That this House is deeply concerned by the proposal to close the Hylands Post Office, Hornchurch Road, Hornchurch; recognises the vital importance of this post office in serving the local community; urges the Government and Post Office Ltd. to listen to the views of all local people and abandon their policy of closing sub post offices, which provide an essential service to communities such as Hornchurch and Romford; and calls upon the Government to acknowledge the continuing need for Hylands Post Office to remain in operation.
