Economic Impact Of Immigration
EDM number 1316 in 2007-08, proposed by David Drew on 02/04/2008.
Categorised under the topic of Immigration.
That this House notes the First Report of the Select Committee on Economic Affairs, Session 2007-08, on The Economic Impact of Immigration, HL Paper 82-I; and recognises that four of the authors of that report, the noble Lords Lamont, Lawson, MacGregor and Wakeham voted consistently for the acceptance of the single market when they were hon. Members and members of Mrs Thatcher's Government, and were therefore responsible for opening up the UK for mass migration of peoples from elsewhere in the EU.
This motion has been signed by a total of 9 MPs.
