Funding Of Lincolnshire Police Authority

EDM number 1218 in 2007-08, proposed by Douglas Hogg on 18/03/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Emergency services, Local government, Police and Public expenditure.

That this House notes with great concern that the Lincolnshire Police Authority has increased its precept by 78.9 per cent.; notes that the Lincolnshire Police Force is the lowest funded in England and Wales; believes that under-funding by central government is the principal cause of the financial problems that the Lincolnshire Police Authority faces; and calls on the Government substantially to increase the grant to be paid to the Lincolnshire Police Force in 2008-09.

This motion has been signed by a total of 3 MPs.
