Enforcement Of The Hunting Act 2004

EDM number 1060 in 2007-08, proposed by Paul Flynn on 27/02/2008.
Categorised under the topics of Animal welfare and Wildlife.

That this House insists that appropriate action should be taken by Dyfed Powys police following the invasion of Llwyncelyn Road, Glanaman in January by a pack of 30 dogs in pursuit of a fox in a clear breach of the law; notes a comment of a resident that `The law is an ass if you ask me and these huntsmen are getting away with murder'; is concerned by reports of flagrant breaches of the Hunting Act 2004; and calls on the police throughout the UK to do their duty.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
