EDM number 950 in 2006-07, proposed by Timothy Farron on 22/02/2007.

That this House commends Coniston and Torver in Cumbria on their application to become Fairtrade villages; notes that Coniston and Torver are making good progress towards meeting the five criteria for Fairtrade status; and celebrates the Fairtrade Town movement, which was started in May 2000 when Garstang in Lancashire declared itself the world's first Fairtrade town.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
