That this House congratulates John McManus of Manchester Education Partnership, Michael Etherton of the United Kingdom Jewish Film Festival and school children from Greater Manchester for organising the successful Holocaust Memorial Day at the Cornerhouse on Friday 26th January; further notes the moving contribution of Holocaust survivor Steven Frank, whose account of life as a child under the Nazis was a chilling reminder of the atrocities suffered by millions of Jews; recognises the contribution made by Steven Frank in schools around the country in educating young people about the Holocaust; and urges other local authorities to work with Steven Frank in schools and on future Holocaust memorial days.
