Sun Newspaper Apology And Conduct Of Hon. Member For Shipley

That this House notes the belated retraction by the Sun newspaper of its baseless story of 7th October 2006 that British soldiers were `hounded out' of their home in Datchet, Berkshire, by `Muslim yobs'; further notes that the hon. Member for Shipley repeated the false story at the time and was quoted in support of the smear by the Sun; and therefore calls for the hon. Member to also retract his words and apologise.
