Emergency Ambulance Control Centre In Carlisle

EDM number 597 in 2006-07, proposed by Timothy Farron on 10/01/2007.

That this House notes with concern plans of the North West Ambulance Service to merge the Emergency Ambulance Control Centre in Carlisle with those in Preston, Manchester and Liverpool; and urges the Service to reconsider this decision and to keep a control centre in Carlisle, which would best serve the interests of patients in the area.
