Flooding In Shrewsbury

EDM number 451 in 2006-07, proposed by Daniel Kawczynski on 07/12/2006.

That this House notes with concern the flooding that has once again occurred along the River Severn in Shropshire, and in particular Shrewsbury; is appalled at the Government's lack of substantive action, despite local calls for this repeating issue to be resolved; and requests that the Government act urgently to help defend the town of Shrewsbury against the annual problem of flooding.

This motion has been signed by a total of 13 MPs.
