Bp And Fife Council (No. 2)
EDM number 449 in 2006-07, proposed by Willie Rennie on 07/12/2006.
That this House welcomes the decision by BP to drop its appeal against Fife Council relating to the recruitment of children by Fife Police for the test purchasing scheme; further welcomes the decision by BP to introduce a Challenge 25 policy in stores in the Fife area and its decision to make the sale of alcohol to under 18s by their staff a case for gross misconduct; and congratulates Fife Council, Fife Police, their partners and now BP on their efforts to combat underage drinking, which is a contributory factor to increasing anti-social behaviour.
This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
