Scrutiny Of The Cost Of The 2012 Olympics

EDM number 293 in 2006-07, proposed by Anne Main on 27/11/2006.

That this House continues to support the 2012 London Olympic Games; celebrates the many benefits the Games will bring to the UK; reminds the Government that this House will not shy away from its obligations and responsibilities in scrutinising, analysing and commenting on its costs; and further reminds the Government that these responsibilities are not manifestations of cynicism or lack of support for the Games but the proper duties of hon. Members.

This motion has been signed by a total of 14 MPs.
