Road Safety And Young Drivers

That this House expresses its deep concern at the alarming number of people killed or seriously injured on roads in the UK as a result of a crash involving young drivers, particularly drink-drivers; notes that many casualties are due to irresponsible driving; calls on the Government to undertake a thorough review of the current legislation affecting young drivers; and urges it to consider providing compulsory road safety education to young people.
