EDM number 2109 in 2006-07, proposed by Mark Lancaster on 15/10/2007.
That this House congratulates Milton Keynes on its 40th anniversary; recognises the new town's revolutionary design; celebrates its vibrant community spirit; congratulates the `can-do' attitude of the residents of Milton Keynes; and, given its growing regional importance, calls on the Lord Chancellor to recommend that Milton Keynes be awarded city status.
