EDM number 2020 in 2006-07, proposed by Mark Oaten on 25/07/2007.

That this House notes the recent publication of the Planning White Paper; calls on the Government to make it a requirement in planning law for developers to enter into pre-application negotiations with the relevant local authority; and believes that this would lead to better quality planning applications and a more efficient planning process.
