Efficacy Of Sponsored School Academies

EDM number 1981 in 2006-07, proposed by Ken Purchase on 23/07/2007.

That this House notes the three reports on academies published in the week beginning 16th July, all of which are heavily critical of the Government's academy programme; believes that it is necessary to carry out a full evaluation of the programme so far; and further believes that plans to create more academies should be suspended until such a review is completed.

This motion has been signed by a total of 24 MPs.
