Visit Of The Governor Of Louisiana To The UK

That this House welcomes the visit of the Governor of the state of Louisiana, the hon. Kathleen Babineaux Blanco, to this country, and in particular her attendance at Westminster for the inauguration of the Parliamentary Friends of Louisiana; and expresses its appreciation of her commitment to helping the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, her efforts since to rebuild destroyed housing and infrastructure and her dedication to promoting economic development in Louisiana and in particular cooperation between her state and the UK.
