Manjit Fitness Charity Campaign

EDM number 1864 in 2006-07, proposed by Keith Vaz on 09/07/2007.

That this House congratulates Manjit Singh from Leicester, who pulled a 7.4 tonne aeroplane across 12 feet of East Midlands Airport with his ears; commends his achievement, which raised £14,000 for the Manjit Fitness Academy charity campaign; notes that the charity aims to raise enough money to build a small sports and fitness school for poor children in Mahilpur, India; and hopes that the effort of pulling the aircraft will qualify for inclusion in the Guinness Book of World Records.

This motion has been signed by a total of 18 MPs.
