Jaguar And Rover Sale

That this House notes with concern the prospect of Ford selling off both Jaguar and Land Rover potentially to a private equity company with the risk of consequent asset-stripping, job losses and detrimental impact on local communities and the UK's manufacturing base; and therefore calls on the Government to be ready to take swift action to intervene to prevent such a sale.
