Leeds United Football Club

EDM number 1507 in 2006-07, proposed by Simon Hughes on 17/05/2007.

That this House is concerned about the actions of Leeds United Football Club and new chairman Ken Bates, that the club has received an unfair advantage by going into administration, that the 10 point deduction received as a result of going into administration when it was all but relegated renders their punishment meaningless, and that this does not encourage good governance of other football clubs throughout the football leagues.

This motion has been signed by a total of 20 MPs.
