That this House believes that candidates of all major political parties in the forthcoming elections throughout the United Kingdom should refrain from making any discriminatory remarks based on age, gender, race, disability or sexuality during the campaign; expresses concern about discriminatory remarks about sexuality made by the Conservative candidate for Clwyd West; expresses further concern about the apparent failure of the leadership of the Conservative Party to take effective action against this candidate; and urges the Conservative Party to demonstrate clearly its commitment to equality by taking appropriate steps to discipline their candidate in Clwyd West.
