Lyons Review

That this House notes with concern the recommendations in the recent Lyons Review, including the proposed tourism tax or bed tax to raise additional funding for local authorities; recognises that this would be damaging to the tourism industry, which raised more than Â£80 billion for the British economy in 2004; and urges the Government to reject this part of the Lyons Review.
