Coniston Hydro-Electricity Project

EDM number 1135 in 2006-07, proposed by Timothy Farron on 14/03/2007.

That this House commends the Coniston Hydro-Electricity Project, which aims to provide hydro-electric power for up to 300 homes in the Coppermines Valley in Coniston; recognises that such projects, which provide energy through renewable sources rather than fossil fuels, are crucial in the battle to combat climate change; and urges the Government to provide more support for the creation of such projects in the future.

This motion has been signed by a total of 28 MPs.
