Consideration Of The Draft Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2007

EDM number 1119 in 2006-07, proposed by Ann Widdecombe on 13/03/2007.

That this House notes that the draft Equality Act (Sexual Orientation) Regulations 2007 were laid before this House on 12th March 2007; further notes that, with unusual haste, they are due to be considered by a statutory instrument committee at 8.55 a.m. on 15th March; but believes that because of the profound implications for religious conscience and the extent of interest and concern in the country they should instead be considered and determined by the whole House.

This motion has been signed by a total of 21 MPs.
