PARKINSON'S DISEASE SOCIETY

That this House applauds the work of the Parkinson's Disease Society in funding national research and offering support to sufferers of the disease; acknowledges the work done by the Chesterfield branch, including fundraising, day trips, advice sessions and offering a social network which enriches the lives of sufferers and carers; and calls on the Government to reinforce campaigning work done by the society to further support people with the condition and enable them and their families and carers to lead fuller, happier lives.
