Alberti And Durose Report

That this House welcomes the report and recommendations by Professor Sir George Alberti and Dr Joan Durose on the current situation in the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust; but believes that the failures of the Trust are only partly managerial and that for the effective treatment of patients and the efficient administration of all the hospitals in the Pennine Trust it should be broken up and North Manchester General Hospital should be placed in a trust wholly within the City of Manchester's boundaries.
