That this House notes with great sadness the departure of Dr Mutahar Abdullah Alsaeede, Ambassador of Republic of Yemen to the Court of St James; further notes that during His Excellency's tenure triumphs were accomplished in British and Yemeni relations with the visit of the Yemen President, His Excellency Ali Abdullah Saleh to meet the British Prime Minister in August 2004; welcomes the fact the first Yemen Day was held in the House in May 2004 and the first ever All Party parliamentary visit to Yemen took place in May 2004; and wishes him well in his career.
