BT'S PRIORITY REPAIR SERVICE

That this House welcomes the campaign by BBC Radio Stoke to draw attention to the benefits of BT's free priority repair service; encourages all those who think that their illness or disability qualifies them for it to apply; notes that there will still be some people who will not qualify and who are unable to afford the Total Care service enhancement; and calls upon the Regulator and BT to consider further how vulnerable people who are currently ineligible can be offered a speed of repair that reflects the safety function of their telephone line.
