Variable Speed Limits On Motorways

EDM number 60 in 2005-06, proposed by John Mann on 17/05/2005.

That this House welcomes the Government's move towards variable speed limits on motorways; believes that standard speed limits need to be clear; and calls for a speed limit on motorways of 80 mph in good weather and 60 mph in bad weather.
