Direct Rail Link Between Shrewsbury And London

EDM number 478 in 2005-06, proposed by Daniel Kawczynski on 04/07/2005.

That this House notes that Shrewsbury is the only county town in England without a direct rail link to London; believes that this hampers Shrewsbury's long-term business and tourism opportunities; and calls on the Government to establish a direct rail link as a matter of urgency.

This motion has been signed by a total of 19 MPs.
