Same Sex And Other Couples And Households

EDM number 409 in 2005-06, proposed by Peter Bottomley on 27/06/2005.

That this House believes that inheritance tax and pension benefits granted to same sex couples should not be denied to heterosexual established couples or to stable households of children or parent and child; and calls on the Chancellor of the Exchequer to be instructed by the Prime Minister to end the present unfair unjustified discrimination.
