Future Of The Phoenix Youth Project

EDM number 408 in 2005-06, proposed by Stewart Jackson on 27/06/2005.

That this House notes the excellent work done by the Phoenix Youth Project in the Westwood and Ravensthorpe areas of Peterborough, two of the most disadvantaged in East Anglia; notes that it has been established for 15 years; further notes that its provision of youth facilities in the area is badly needed both for improving the lives of young people aged 10 to 25 years and for promoting better community spirit; is concerned that the funding for the project is coming to an end; and calls upon the Government to examine possible funding streams to enable this wholly worthwhile project to continue.

This motion has been signed by a total of 6 MPs.
