PROPOSALS TO ABOLISH THE RIGHT OF APPEAL ON VISITORS' VISA REFUSALS

That this House notes with concern the proposal to abolish the right of appeal in relation to visitors' visa refusals; notes with unease the consequences that these proposed changes will have on particular families and in particular communities; and calls on the Government to maintain the right of appeal which is fundamental to providing justice in the UK visa operation.
