That this House, noting that NATO allies have not responded to requests for troops to reinforce British forces now serving in Helmand province in Afghanistan, calls on the Government to state what steps were taken prior to the commitment of British forces to that theatre of operation to ensure that adequate provision was made for the proper reinforcement of British forces.
