That this House congratulates Sir Sigmund Sternberg KCSG, founder of the Sternberg centre for Judaism in Finchley and co-founder of the Three Faiths Forum, for having been awarded the highest national award, Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit, from the Federal Republic of Germany on 13th July 2006, in recognition of his tireless work in promoting interfaith activities.
