That this House congratulates the Abbeyfield Society on its Golden Jubilee; recognises the excellent work it has done over the last 50 years in providing care for the elderly; and expresses concern that the viability of some of Abbeyfield's services are being threatened by a growing gap in funding due to problems with the new Supporting People contracts being issued by local authorities.
